February Monthly Mingle

Happy winter to all OBX Green Drinks members! Yes, it is technically still winter, although it has been extremely mild!

Have you heard about Outer Banks Catch?  It’s a Currituck, Dare, Hyde and Tyrrell County program designed to promote and educate seafood lovers about the numerous advantages of requesting what’s in season and locally caught.  For our commercial fishermen, fishing is a hard day’s work getting even harder with increasing regulations. But it’s also our heritage and means everything to the working watermen and local economy. But what does it mean to you?

Come join us and learn about Outer Banks Catch with Dorothy Killingsworth, Dare County Public Information Officer, who works closely with this special program.  Hope to see you all there!

Please RSVP to the OBX Green Drinks email ( if you're on our email list) or send an email to obxgreendrinks@gmail.com so we know how many people will be joining us for the program!
