January Monthly Mingle

Happy New Year to all OBX Green Drinks members!

This month, we are lucky to have a wonderful birder visiting the Outer Banks at the time of our regular meeting date!

JoAnne Powell, retired Education Coordinator from the NC Maritime Museum, is leading a group from the Museum to Dare and Hyde Counties to see some beautiful winter birds. We have invited her to speak to the OBX Green Drinks group to share her knowledge of what birds overwinter in our area -- and where you can find them.

This informative talk will be of interest to novice, intermediate, and expert birders, so come on out and enjoy this glimpse into our unique natural area! Hope to see you all there!
