Tracey Helton is a beekeeper here on the Outer Banks and will touch on beekeeping and the importance of pollinators.   A few days before one of the members of the Outer Banks beekeepers guild found out about our meeting. , which is the same night as their monhtly meetings and asked it we could combine our meetings.  Of course we did and discovered there are many locals who are beekeeping and harvesting honey.
