May Monthly Mingle

Well, it's slipped up on me again and I apologize for the late notice ... but we're having our May Monthly Mingle tomorrow (May 14) at Coastal Provisions. Remember that this is the last get-together until we meet again in September.

How many volunteers does it take to record, collect, and observe as many species as possible on a 3,000-acre piece of land during a 24-hour period? How many plants and animals were seen in those 24 hours? How was it done, and why was it done?

Come discover everything that was observed at the Donal C. O'Brien, Jr. Sanctuary and Audubon Center with Robbie Fearn, sanctuary director, as he shares the magic (and the numbers) of the Pine Island Sanctuary!

I know that some of you may think that RSVPing is not important, but IT IS VITAL! The servers at Coastal Provisions need to know numbers in order to plan for staffing. Please RSVP by sending an email to obxgreendrinks@gmail.com so we know how many people will be joining us. Feel free to come a little early and enjoy some of Coastal Provisions' wonderful dining options!
