April Monthly Mingle

It's time for our April get-together, so come on out to Waverider's Coffee and Deli at their new place in Nags Head on Wednesday evening, 4/8, at 7:00 pm.

Waverider's still has their awesome sandwich/wrap menu, as well as a nice selection of muffins and pastries.  In addition to the coffee drinks, sodas, and juices, etc., they're now offering draft and bottled beers (domestic and imported), as well as wines by the bottle and the glass.  Check out their web site at www.waveriderscoffeeanddeli.com for selections.

April's topic:  Are you looking for ways to garden and green your landscape on the cheap? Plant propagation is a fun, easy, affordable, and environmentally-friendly way to get new plants. Priscilla Delano and Nathan Richards, Manteo residents, will talk about propagation methods, focusing on stem cuttings. Spring is a great time for propagating from stem cuttings, whether you are looking to add shrubs and flowers to your yard, increase the herbs in your veggie garden, or get a few more house plants. The group will practice propagating basil plants, and you can take a cutting with you to root at home. Priscilla and Nathan are hobby gardeners so this talk will be geared towards practical tips and techniques that don't require the greenest of thumbs.

Join us on Wednesday for a great, practical learning experience!  Please RSVP by sending an email to obxgreendrinks@gmail.com so we know how many people will be joining us. Bobbie would appreciate knowing how many people to expect so she can plan her staffing.
